Strategic Planning
The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness leads the implementation and management of the University wide 10 year strategic plan, Where Courageous Inquiry Leads (PDF 312KB) Strategic planning staff provide expertise in planning principles, facilitates and prepares strategic and business plans for University-wide academic priority areas, and develops planning tools and processes that assist University strategy development and collaboration.
Services Offered
The Office of Institutional Research, Planning, and Effectiveness is responsible for developing, monitoring progress, and evaluating the overall planning framework for Emory University. As part of this process, the office also assists schools, units, and other entities with their strategic plans and planning processes. Services offered include:
- Leading cross-functional teams on special projects
- Facilitating strategic planning retreats and meetings
- Providing assistance and support in writing strategic planning documents and tactical plans
- Assisting in developing mission, vision, and goal statements
